I MADE IT!!!

It's my third day in Japan and I feel like my time here has already gone so fast.  Yesterday was Ray's birthday (today in the states) and we got to celebrate by seeing him play two games in Osaka where he scored 16 and 22 points respectively.  It was great!  The food is amazing, and the scenery has been incredible.
I've already had so many experiences- I can't wait to post pictures.  I've met some amazing people, loved hanging out with tall teammates, the people of Japan are bizarrely kind and polite... I can't believe that I have nearly three weeks here!
Oh by the way, my bags didn't show up... it's been three days and they SHOULD come tomorrow...but its been fine.
SO, I plan on posting more when I get the chance.  Keep checking back!
I love you all!!

My final days in Spain...

Check out Spookie (cat I grew up with) look alike hiding. There were all kinds of cats jumping out as we made our way to this great Chinese rest. that Stephanie informed us was really good! She was sooo right! Troy treated us all to Gellato after dinner! What a great time I had in Spain....Thank you so much Steph & Troy! Your kindness really meant so much to me :)

Tarragona the Beautiful

To give you an idea about how much I loved Tarragona....if I ever get married I think it might have to be here instead of Thahiti! lol

Juventus Pizza!

After the game we went to Sylvia's Italin rest. and I could not pass up a Juve' Pizza (my favorite soccer team thanks to Poalo) Notice colors of the pizza....I found my new favorite city! Tarragona Spain! Lord willing, I will get to return in the future to have a week to tour

Some exciting Plus-Pujol Basketball

Just a few shots from Troy's game. Very exciting game even though we lost in the last seconds. That's Linsay and I with the beautiful Stephanie in the stands....as you can see, Steph and I got a little "shooting around" play time before the game :)

Barcelona tour trip

Of all the places to eat in Spain I was craving a Subway! That church "La Sagrada Familia" is over a hundred years in the making. That's Troy getting ready to eat the sweets like Ray would eat a peacon pie! Oh that's just sparkling cider i'm drinking....a big girl like me would look funny with a small glass right? :)

Thanksgiving dinner on the 27th!

I think this could be the most fun I've ever had cooking in my life! What a lovely time I had visiting Stephanie and Troy for Thanksgiving weekend in Lleida Spain. The group shot is from L. to R. Linsay, me, Stephanie and Sylvia. What a grand time!

Haunted Catholic boarding school

Boo! Don't be scared...That's just Ray pretending to be a bear in Alaska a couple yrs. back! This "said to be" haunted school is located minutes from my house. The reason they say is because the teachers abused the kids and put them through a lot of pain and death. A little creapy in there expecially with this spider we came accross!

Cutting the Turkey

What a classic shot of all the guys in the kitchen trying to sneak a bite! That's our pastor Mike cutting the turkey, Pat Shaeffer, Dan and then Brian (long, blond hair) The pic of me sitting down is a place I will take Roy & Reed! Breath taking view of Florence

Florence/early Thanksgiving trip

Don't look too close cause my eyes are shut in the first 2 pics! This was a wonderful trip all my church friends took to Florence for our early Thanksgivng. Every time I go to Florence I find something new to explor! Can't wait to take Roy and Reed there!

Charise's going away party

Charise's party days before she moved back to the Arz. That's Anna and I standing in a very small door way,(she is 4'8'') its not that I'm a giant! I had to show off the 3 pineapples that I got for 1 eruo; the orange fruit which are persimmons I picked before they all fell from the trees with the frost and cold weather here.
